Age 97, a lifetime resident of Plum Borough, passed away Friday, September 8,2017. Beloved husband to the late Irma L. Ritter; loving father of Kathy (Mark) Dickson, of Russellton, Nomie (Bob) Kuniak, of Orlando, Fla., and Robert (Chris) Ritter, of Franklin; grandfather of Benjamin and Katie Ritter, Jayme (Ryan) Dorsett, Joel Kuniak, Shena (Bryan) Fowler, Adam (Janeen) and Christopher (Amber) Dickson and Janel (Dan) Papapanu; and great-grandfather of Izabella, Levi, Abel Dickson, Elizabeth and Jack Papapanu, Ethan Fowler, Teagan, Charlotte, and the late Elise Dickson, and Luke Dorsett. He was a proud US Army Veteran having served in WWII and an active member of the Logan's Ferry Sportsmen Club. Friends received, Tuesday, 6-8:30pm at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES LTD./ROTH CHAPEL, 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road), Penn Hills, where a Funeral Service will be held, Wednesday 11am. Interment in Plum Creek Cemetery. To honor Norman's memory, donations may be made to VA Hospice Program, C/O H. J. Heinz VA Medical Center, 1010 Delafield Road, Pgh., PA 15215.
