Age 71, of Plum, on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Beloved husband of 47 years to Patricia (Stolowski); father of Deborah (Anthony) Rossi and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Bishop; grandfather of Dominic and Vincent Rossi, Rhyan and Maxsimis Bishop; Brother of Roseanne Bishop. Ron proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Intrepid. He retired after 26 years from the Federal Reserve Bank of Pittsburgh. He enjoyed playing with his grandkids, spending time with family and his dog, Chloe, and golfing. He was a member of American Legion #980 and VFW Post 92, New Kensington. Friends received, Monday, 1-4 and 6-9pm at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd./Roth Chapel,7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills. Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, 10:00 am in St. John the Baptist Church. Entombment in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
